Race cars AND graphic design — to me there is hardly a more interesting combo. Graphic designs that cheerfully violate any graphic design rule they teach you in school, in this case mostly because they were conceived by non-designers.
In this book, author Sven Voelker sacrificed his own collection of toy racers to paint them flat white to demonstrate a stunning before/after effect of the aerodynamic shapes with and without colorful adornment — makes you think of all kinds of camouflage action in flora, fauna and fashion.
