Just wanted to let everyone know that orders are now being taken for Issue #3 of It’s Nice That. I bought Issue #2 a while back and really enjoyed the in depth interviews and unique artwork that you get along with the publication. Artwork supplied with this issue if purchased before March 31st features a print by Amsterdam based illustrator Parra. The print is 980 x 550 mm and will be screen printed onto bible paper and come folded and slipped into the front of all orders. It is exclusively available to It’s Nice That. Issue #3 features 54 pages of interviews, 34 pages of features and 42 pages of work. No advertising. You can pre-order now for 10 pounds (roughly $15) not counting shipping.
Issue #3 crosses a variety of artistic disciplines and interviews include Milton Glaser, fashion designer Sir Paul Smith, furniture designer Tom Dixon, filmmaker Keith Schofield, illustrator Tom Gauld and artist Maisie Broadhead. The features are an open forum for chosen artists to write about whatever subject excites them. These are not your typical canned interviews. For example, Geoff McFetridge, writing about his frustrations with graphics in comparison to the written word. Designer Ken Garland on his love of rust. Artist Johan Lofgren’s impressive collection of vintage board games. Graphic designer Keetra Dean Dixon’s interest in ‘The Times Between Times’. Overall the publication provides for great inspiration and an easy way to break out of a creative slump after midterms.
