It seems just about every week I struggle to find something to blog about. Yet somehow I find something that deserves to be posted. Every artist at some time or another experiences creative blocks. One way that I overcome this obstacle is to travel.
Stefan Sagmeister is known to shut down his studio for a year at time to recharge his creative juices and travel. Unlike Mr. Sagmeister, most of us cannot afford this luxury. That’s why when I came across Thumbs Up! on VBS.TV I just had to share. Los Angeles born artist David Choe along with his cousin Harry trek across the U.S. by hitchhiking planes, trains and automobiles. So until the break when you can take off and travel. live vicariously through David and Harry as they go from Los Angeles to Miami.
But wait the action doesn’t stop there. The second season of Thumbs Up is back with more adventures for you! This time David and Harry go from Tijuana, Mexico to Alaska.

Great entry. I’ll be spending the next hour of my time catching up with this ‘Thumbs Up’ web series.
this guy inspired me to pursue art as a career after meeting him almost 10 years ago!
although when i saw him several years later, he told me he was disappointed that i’d stopped playing in a band and taken up art instead.
